In my research of fluid mechanics I use many techniques, both experiments and computational. My current research involves solving for flow in a channel network using graph theory. I use many tools like particle image velocimetry (PIV), planar laser-induced fluorescence (PLIF) as well as image analysis including Hough Transform for object detection, box-counting to evaluate fractal dimensions - all in the context of experiments. I am well versed in using OpenFOAM and Basilisk for computational simulations of fluid flow. I have expertise in Python programming especially scientific libraries like Numpy, Scipy and PyTorch.
